NEET PG Dental/MDS exam is the eligibility cum entrance exam  which serves as a sole basis for admission to the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) course and has replaced AIPGDEE.

This exam is conducted by NBE and serves as the gateway for admission to most of the State Dental colleges, Private Universities, Deemed Universities and Private Dental Colleges.

This article will highlight the important details of the NEET MDS exam such as the Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern, Important Dates, Registration Procedure and other details.

 

Eligibility Criteria

The  eligibility criteria has been listed below:

  • Candidate must be a Citizen of India/Overseas Citizen of India.
  • Candidate must be registered with the Dental Council of India/Any State Dental Council.
  • Candidate must possess a B.D.S. degree from a recognised University/College and must have completed rotatory internship of minimum 12 months duration from a recognised dental college in India on or before March 31, 2017.

Registration Procedure
  • All candidates must have to complete their Basic Registration before closing date of
Registration to be eligible for Stage B: Final Registration.
  •  No fee payable for Basic Registration.
  • Only Candidates who have completed their basic registration will be able to generate RUC Code and Final Registration.
  •  Basic Registration will not be opened again once Final Registration Starts.
  •  Incomplete application form or with wrong or deliberately concealed information is liable to be straight away rejected without any intimation.
All applicants who have applied earlier and whose Basic Registration have been
ACCEPTED for January 2019, July 2019, January 2020 and July 2020 session for AIIMS,
are not required to complete Basic Registration again. However, these Candidates are
required to check their Basic Registration Form Status during Basic Registration and
editing of Basic Registration. Applicants may note that further correspondence will NOT be
entertained in this regard.
 
HOW TO APPLY  FOR BASIC REGISTRATION
1.  Visit the website  www.aiimsexams.org
2. On the Home Page, Go to Academic Courses Tab  and select the INI-CET (MDS), where in you will see a tab titled MDS EXAM, go to the bottom and click Proceed .
3.A Notification page opens , on the left side, under General Links , click on Registration/Login
4. Login Page will open, click on Basic Registrattion & Generation of Code ( Candidates who already have the Registration Unique Code can login with their Registration Id , RUC and password)
5.For New Registration, click on Click Here ForNew Basic Registration button on New
Basic Registration Zone. For already registered candidate, enter Registration Id, Password (already sent on registered email id) and Captcha and then click on Login button.
6. Read the instructions carefully and click Proceed.
(User Manual is present on the left side of the page, candidates can go through for  instructions regarding the registration procedure)
Registration:
  •  Applicant should fill correct basic details like Full Name, DOB,
Category, Gender, Email, Contact No. etc. subsequently to get Login credentials.
After completion of this step,you  will get SMS and Email
intimating about Login Credentials (If SMS or Email is not received, call  on Toll
Free Number: 1800117898 immediately).

7. Login with the credentials provided and change password on first time login.
Password length should be between 6-10 characters

8. After completion of Step 1 of Application process, ‘My Page’ will be generated for
each applicant bearing his/her entire information filled by him/her. ‘My Page’ will
provide information regarding Due Steps; those should be completed before
closing date, Admit Card & Result etc.
